TMC Entertainment Announces Start of Photography on its $7.5m Miniseries For PBS, Walking the Bible, a Journey through the Five Books of Moses and Abraham, A Journey to the Heart of Three Faiths

Emmy Award-winning producer Drew S. Levins TMC Entertainment announced today that principal photography will begin late September in Turkey and Israel on its two highly anticipated PBS miniseries, Walking the Bible and Abraham. Both miniseries are based on the bestselling books by author Bruce Feiler and will be hosted by Feiler and Avner Goren, one of the leading biblical archaeologists on both the old and new testaments. Walking the Bible and Abraham will be broadcast on PBS as a primetime event tentatively scheduled for Fall 2005. KQED Public Television, the San Francisco PBS station, has signed an agreement with TMC to be the presenting station. The ambitious projects will be filmed on three continents, in ten countries, including one of the most volatile areas of the Middle East, Iraq, the birthplace of Abraham, the father of the three great modern religions. Feiler and Goren will travel 10,000 miles to bring these epic journeys to life.

American Marketing Association Releases Research on New Media Marketing Strategies in Anticipation of Mplanet™ and Holiday Shopping Season

New research conducted by the American Marketing Association (AMA) revealed a narrowing gap between social networking and e-commerce. In preparation for its first-ever Mplanet™ (Nov. 29-Dec. 1), AMA is releasing a series of research reports that measure consumer attitudes toward new online mediums, the best channels by which to reach today's savvy consumer, and how they are finding out about the newest and hottest products this holiday season.

"With Black Friday upon us and the holiday shopping season officially here, marketers need to take notice of some interesting trends related to consumer attitudes," said Dennis Dunlap, Chief Executive Officer of the American Marketing Association.

AMA is releasing the research as a precursor to its inaugural Mplanet, where the topic of morphing media and channels is one of six content themes at the heart of the program. With more than 30 program sessions and over 60 speakers, Mplanet's program was strategically designed to enable marketers to explore new solutions and hear about future trends that will impact 2007 and beyond. BNI-Misner Charitable Foundation Joins Forces with Red Cross to Help Fire Victims
