What Richard Pryor Knew About Marketing That Few Business Owners Will Ever Be Wise Enough To Know

You may know exactly how much of a comic genius Richard Pryor was, however few people are aware of what a marketing genius he was too. Here's why:

Like many people, you probably remember watching Richard Pryor on television and in the movies. Pryor was over-the-top, bold, 5b4 and outrageous, and he had the cojones to say whatever was on his mind. Often times, all he was doing was simply entering the conversation his audience was already having inside their own minds, saying out loud, the thoughts they were already thinking about, but were afraid to mention or discuss on their own.

Quirky Art Featured at Monument, Colorado Library

Described as "Peter Max colliding with Kandinsky," W. Doodle's Whimsical Worlds transport the viewer into mostly lighthearted colorful abstract scenes filled with geometry, wonderfully composed spaces occupied (in some cases) by unfamiliar, otherworldly creatures. Each drawing represents a small segment of a much greater story to be completed or continued by the viewer. Intended to incite the imagination and inspire creativity, observers are invited to complete the story. The works' titles denote the quizzical aire of whimsy created, for example, "The Rastafarian Flute-Harpist Arrived Late," and yes, he's there, but what "he" is, is not exactly certain. For those who are addicted to their reflection, "A Beautiful Mind is Better than a Pretty Face" (shown) depicts a lesson on the vainness of a narcissist's vanity. Youngsters and oldsters alike chuckle as they ponder the story behind each Whimsical Doodle.

Energy Hedge Fund Center Launches Major New Study into Global Energy Markets

The Energy Hedge Fund Center, LLC (EHFC) has announced a major new multi-client study into global energy markets. The study will review all energy and environmental commodity financial markets with the ultimate objective of definitively classifying and sizing those markets. It will examine structural change in the markets, new trading instruments and exchanges, as well as examining global markets for crude oil, refined products, natural gas, electric power, emissions, and other commodities.

“Global energy trading is rapidly recovering from any impacts it sustained as a result of the collapse of the North American Energy Merchants that impacted natural gas and electric power markets considerably,” said Mr. Peter C. Fusaro, Co-Principal, EHFC. “Additionally, new exchange-based clearing mechanisms, instruments and intra-commodity relationships have emerged that have reduced barriers to entry, increased market liquidity and impacted risks. With the recent entry and reemergence of investment banks, hedge funds and multinational oil companies as investors in energy commodities, these markets have dramatically changed over the last 4-5 years. Indeed, we would argue that there has been a structural change in energy markets.”

This type of workout will boost their metabolism and sculpt their body much better than slow, boring cardio workouts," Ballantyne says.
